Discover the relaxing and rewarding art of punch needle in this hands-on two-hour workshop designed especially for beginners.
This intimate workshop is all about learning the fundamentals, having a play, and building confidence with punch needle in a relaxed and supportive environment. You’ll receive plenty of individual guidance and personalised instruction throughout the session.
I’ll take you through how to set up and use your punch needle, work with the materials, and explore different techniques and textures. I’ll also share tips from my own creative process and how I use punch needle to create my original textile artworks.
You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with the technique, learn at your own pace and start creating your own unique piece to continue working on at home.
No prior experience is needed. Whether you’re completely new to punch needle or have had a go before and want some extra guidance, this workshop is a great way to explore a new creative medium.
All materials are provided, so simply grab a drink and arrive ready to create.
Workshop location
The workshop is held at The Downtown Creative in Ettalong Beach, on the beautiful Central Coast.
Why not make a day of it? After the workshop, you can wander through Ettalong, grab a coffee or lunch, take a stroll along the beach or even go for a swim. It’s the perfect little creative escape — a couple of hours of making, followed by some time by the water.
